Tour guide: Yes, it is . Lying at the center of Beijing, the Forbidden City, called Gu Gong, in Chinese, was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Now known as the Palace Museum, it is to the north of Tiananmen Square. Rectangular in shape, it is the world‘s largest palace complex.

Talking about history and culture can be pretty straightforward and even enjoyable. Histories and culture make men wise and histories act as a mirror.

However, there is too much history  and culture to talk about and one's wisdom is needed badly. Besides, what we  firstly need is to learn and enrich ourselves. The more we learn, the more we can talk.

2.What was the most interesting part of this unit and why?

I think the text is very interesting. We learned not only about the language, but also about the history and culture of Egypt. More importantly, we have enhanced the awareness of cultural heritage protection and understand the relevant protection methods.

3.How does learning about cultural heritage affect your opinion about your role in protecting your culture?

In the past, I felt that I was still young and the protection of cultural heritage should be the responsibility of experts and scholars. However, through the study of this module, I understand.

 We middle school students can also participate in this activity. Do what we can. This strengthens our sense of historical responsibility.
